Where to park for Belfast Airport
Belfast Airport offers several parking options for travelers:
- Short Stay Parking: This is ideal for those who are only parking for a few hours or a day or two. The Short Stay car park is located just a short walk from the terminal building, so it’s convenient for those who don’t want to carry their luggage too far. The rates are typically higher than long-stay parking, so it’s best for short-term parking needs.
- Long Stay Parking: If you’re traveling for a longer period, the Long Stay car park may be the better option for you. The car park is located a little further from the terminal building, but it’s still within walking distance or accessible by a shuttle bus. Rates are generally lower than the Short Stay car park, so it’s ideal for those who need to park for several days or more.
- Park and Fly: This is a premium parking service that offers greater convenience and faster access to the terminal building. You simply drop your car off at the terminal and a chauffeur will park it for you in a secure car park. When you return, the chauffeur will bring your car back to the terminal building so you can drive home straight away.
- Meet and Greet Parking: Similar to Park and Fly, Meet and Greet parking offers the added convenience of having someone meet you at the terminal building and park your car for you. When you return, your car will be waiting for you at the terminal so you can drive home straight away.
All of these parking options can be booked in advance online, and rates may vary depending on the time of year and how far in advance you book. It’s best to check the airport’s website for up-to-date information on rates and availability.

Free Parking near Belfast Airport
Parking for free whilst you are away on holiday is not the most recommended method, especially if you are out of the country for a long period of time. We recommend using a free parking spot if you are flying on a domestic flight and will only be leaving your car for a maximum of 24 hours, although there are no restrictions for our free parking spots.
We don’t recommend parking on residential streets as this can become a struggle for locals, so for free parking near Belfast Airport, we’d suggest Steeple Road, an industrial estate with plenty of parking.
From here, you can jump on the train at Antrim station which goes directly into Belfast Airport and takes around 10-15 minutes.
