Our review of Leeds Park & Ride
We decided to use the park & ride site located at Temple Green, just off the M1 close to Skelton Lake Services, which was really easy to get to – you come off the M1 and on the roundabout, head towards Leeds. At the next roundabout, you’ll see a Morrisons petrol station where you take the turning into the park & ride site.
We probably counted 10 other cars in the car park, which seemed like a shame, given how efficient the park & ride service is (although this was on a Saturday, when they ran on weekends).
After walking the 20 yards to the waiting room, where you can purchase tickets and rest your feet and stay dry whilst you wait for your bus, we found there was a bus already waiting.

It didn’t feel like we were on the bus for too long, maybe 10 minutes at best, but the great thing is, there are no other stops scheduled, so you are straight in to Leeds in no time.
The bus arrives on Lower Briggate, just a 2 minute walk from Leeds Trinity and you will get back on the bus in the same place.
The buses all seemed pretty much brand new – they were clean, tidy and had USB charge points you could use. All in all, we would definitely recommend using the park & ride service next time you visit Leeds.
There are two other park & ride sites so you can take advantage of free parking from whichever direction you come from.
